The banana grove in the first pic looks like it is 3-4 yrs old. I'm hoping my Musa Basjoo grove should be about that large next fall.
That seemingly half S. Minor half S. Palmetto might be a young S. Palmetto. Especially with those long fibers. When younger than that one, it is tougher to tell them apart. That would be very interesting if it was a hybrid. Do you protect that and your S. Palmetto?
Longleafs at that age, up until then get they first few branches remind me of mini Joshua trees. A very unique and attractive look. I want to get a couple and try in z7a. I'm planning on getting Loblollies in the future too.
