Southern Magnolia in Iowa

Haven't posted a pic here in quite some time but I had to share this one. Here, hopefully, is the largest Southern Magnolia in Iowa. I planted it from seed about 10 years ago and it sits in a courtyard area of a building in Bettendorf, Iowa. Never gets protected during the winter. I have to travel 175 miles south of here to even start to see these. Just proof that sighting of a particular plant is a big deal when zone stretching
