but I am not familiar with the site. These might be endangered so doubt they'll be coming from the wild. That could be why they are not widely available. They are said to grow so thick (clumping) that they can be used as barriers.
If the pruned one grew back that fast, it must grow faster than the Med Fan. I first saw a clump at an Alligator park in Orlando. None of the workers knew what type it was. So I looked at images of smaller clumping palms and found that one. The trunks and small size set them apart from other upright palms. Especially the trunks.
