Of course, the autumn foliage "chase" in New England will be partly elevation based. If the autumn foliage is too early, then I can go to lower elevations and/or farther south. I do plan on climbing Mt. Washington--it will be interesting to see the elevation differences there (obviously there won't be any arborescent autumn foliage at the top since that's above timberline!).
