Split the difference (either with me--102 the past 2 days or with Stan and his 107 high)? That would bring the desirable lower to mid 80s!
I noticed under the remnant low from Harvey (due to cloudiness and the unseasonably cool airmass it moved into) some afternoon temps even in the 50s the past 2 days, and then there were lows last night in the 30s in parts of New England. I guess this will prime the trees for autumn foliage (I actually am planning on visiting New England in late September/early October to see the autumn foliage--something I haven't seen in years!).
