Thanks George! Both you and Jim pretty much helped me to confirm on most of the palms mentioned. Its good to get other peoples input. Going to go with a hardy type of s.palmetto for sure. And yes sir I do see quite a bit of southern magnolia in my area and well to my north. Also a few live oak/water oak types.
