The rainy season in FL is in full motion and suddenly my entire land parcel is covered with this plant... it is blooming now and there are thousands of bees and butterflies. the roots are redish, the leaf is easily breakable and soft.. they are tall, almost up to my chin.. (I am 5-1").
I have no clue how to handle this event... 1-1/4 of an acre is fully covered with it.. Looks like some kind of swamp, wet land plant ?
I took one to the horticultural extension in Fort Pierce but they did not call me back.
