I don't know what the issue is. I have 2 other Thai Blacks, 1 started growing immediately, and the other just started growing a few weeks ago. It's been a horrible growing season for me. Lots of rain and relatively cool. I also have a rabbits nest under my pool deck which has devoured my peas, green beans, and zucchini. I had several pepper plants rot in the ground and my tomato seeds all dampened off. Technically average temps, but the lows are higher than normal and the highs are lower than normal. More than 15" of rain since Memorial Day here.
Zone 6a, 20 miles SE of Pittsburgh
