I will find out if I have the skill to store the Caladium tubers this winter. At this point I plan to follow this guide: http://www.kallus.com/aroids/fallprep/fallprep.html
As for the Elephant Ears, I plan to dig most of them out after the first few frosts, pot them, give a hurricane cut, and place by a sunny window or glass door. Then hope they don't get too big before Spring. This worked with the 3 varieties I over-wintered last year. I also might try treating a couple of them like bulbs because of space limitations.
