I was able to overwinter my three tropical hibiscus plants (Cajun cultivars) last winter with small enclosures and a roll of minilights on each. They still got some freeze damage. Wasn't sure it would be worth it cause some species just don't recover well. But these rapidly came back bigger and better than they were last fall.
Hardy hibiscus are in their prime native habitat here... have some of those too...
