That's what it is Brian. Hot summers kill them..I doubt they like more then one night below..28?..some say down to 22f.
Even though the bay area now has a record for the whole family,maybe somebody will sell them. Seems like most are seed grown,or a friend grew them from seed and passed them on.
If I had planted one in 1995..NOW,I could be enjoying it. This is one hobby where you wish a second chance to do it right. Especially with time.
