Is that a Ceroxylon quindiuense? I've always had a fascination with Ceroxylon and Parajubaea. Being relatively cold tolerant, and at the same time look extremely tropical. Of course they don't like too much heat, or humidity (supposedly), so I always hoped one day they would find one that would do well in the PNW.
Now that we know more about those species, it's very unlikely they would last very long in the PNW, with the exception of SW Oregon. Maybe.
