$10 per pound? You might want to look around a bit more--at various Asian markets here, I can find them on sale sometimes for $1.99/lb (more typically they're $3-4/lb). Cherimoyas have been more expensive lately (a few years ago, I'd occasionally see them for $1.99/lb, but the drought may have caused prices to go up, since the ones in the stores are often local, versus dragon fruits which are more likely imported from Vietnam).
