Southern Magnolia Questions
Posted by TomPAz6A on 6/23/2017, 2:42 pm
I have a couple of Southern Magnolia questions.
Here is picture of a leaf on my Brackens Brown beauty. The color of the leaves is a pale green. This died to the ground its first year planted (polar vortex winter). Since then it has grown rapidly.
I've acified the soil which darkened the foliage a bit but not where it was. Any thoughts?
My other question is with my Victoria Magnolia. It has yet to flower after several years in ground. The location has a decent amount of shade and might be part shade. Could this be a light issue or age? The foliage is healthy and I give it Hollytone each spring.
Any thoughts are appreciated!
