We were on BART .and clouds of blue can be seen all over Haytown. As you get north of Hayward? They get very spotty..then none.
That neighborhood Brandt is across from another - "Palm Ceia"..it was built in the mid 50's EVERY HOME had a Fan palm...by the 70's they were a sight to see.
Then Hayward decided they were too much work to clean after. Most were sold to soucal developers. You still see a few- some people told the city they wanted to keep them.
Anyways' THAT neighborhood has streets like "Miami" "Gainsville" "Marlin".
To think that was all 9b Hayward..now at 10a we can grow Mango's or Papaya. Not greatly..but grow.
btw ,The VERY tall ones in the photo were part of an old estate divided up..so those are about 100year+ old.
