I planted that Mimosa to compete with so many other weeds

When I bought it, I thought it was native. I know now that it isn't, but it sure is drought tolerant. It never missed a beat in the driest of weather. As the grass died, the mimosa filled in.
My yard has a potpourri of exotic, invasive weeds, but this mimosa is the only one I can claim. And its my favorite. Most of the others I wouldn't give to my worst enemy: Cogongrass & Torpedograss are just awful. Creeping indigo kills horses. The Mimosa is tame compared to them.
