Yes, sometimes I do a double take thinking I've spotted a Sequoia, but ends up being a 'Yoshino'. Doesn't seem like I ever see the straight species for sale anywhere around here, always one cultivar or another. Was at Hershey Gardens a few weeks ago and they have the 'mother' tree of 'Dense Jade', something I've never seen in the arboretum it didn't originate. https://ralietravels.wordpress.com/2015/11/29/the-mother-tree-hershey-pennsylvania/
