I think the rain is on its way!

Looks like the pattern this week is much more favorable for rain. We got about half an inch of rain up here yesterday. The plants loved it. Hopefully we can get some more rain over the next few days. My banana plants have doubled in size in the past few weeks with all the heat. They are taller than me now! I never had that growth rate in NY, that's for sure.
My NY plumerias are a little ahead of the ones in here in Florida, but my neighbor has one that is already blooming (I am assuming it's in a pot).
So glad to see your plumeria cutting taking off and doing so well. It has a great branching habit. It'll have so many tips by the time the blooms reach eye level that you'll be able to see hundreds of blooms! Red's a hard color to bring out when there isn't a lot of heat. You can tell it's loving this weather!
Love the coconut palm. I haven't seen any for sale here (I was hoping they would be sold as annuals). I'm going to make a very quick trip down to Orlando next month and I'm going to see if I can find a coconut palm to bring back up as a potted plant. My NY coconut palm is sitting and waiting for it to stop raining up there. But at least it's not sunburned like it would be if it was hot there.
See UPDATED pics of my tropical plants in on my Blog!
