Jim, FWIW tend to think you're right about a certain amount of bias that may be a limiting factor on free expression on Facebook while there is also chances for discussion on a variety of plant related topics (which thankfully are generally apolitical). OTOH, I still like the "retro" boards like this and hope people will still continue to use them.
