If he sends pics, we should be able to get it right. There are lots of palms in Miami, but I'd bet that there are less than 50 species that make up 90% of the palm population. Hurricane palm would be in that 50. Most of them are pretty easy to identify. There are plenty of palms there that I can't identify, but they aren't common.
