Brother in law sent me - I think they are Hurricane palm seeds that are sprouted.

He's not a plant guy,but he is a scientist and he and the wife bought a home in Miami that already had what looked to my eyes to be Hurricane palms. I read they are very common in Florida.
I have my doubts about the bay area- but what the heck,I have the seeds and Im sure 3 or so in a pot will look cool.
Any op from all you deep,deep,deep,deep, south?
