First Citrumelo blooms for this plant. It's been maybe 7 to 8 years in the ground. Survived the vortex years. Probably 10 years old from SEED. These are growing in a sheltered spot in DC where I work...nearly a perfect microclimate with summer sun and heat, some shade in winter but no supplemental water. Could be a good citrus season in the DMV! Plants are about 10 feet high and first blooms are at around 8 feet. Too high to get a better shot or a whiff of the fragrance.
