There's a lot of growth at the top but it will take a few cold damaged ugly fronds to grow out until a perfect one emerges . :
That Washy is about the height of this Palmetto but the Washy should overtake it and become my tallest palm this season . The Butia will get trimmed up as its fronds fully die off and the new grows in . My Filifera is to the right of the Butia . I'm glad it survived the cool wet winter . Maybe it won't be so susceptible to cool , wet winters in a few years :
