I'm actually going to do vining crops; green beans, snow peas and sweet peas. I don't know anything about creeping fig, but I don't think it is hardy here. I would consider a jasmine but they are not hardy here either. I have once which I dig and store every year. Frank in Cincy says he has a z6 hardy Cestrum, but I am not personally aware of any hardy jasmines. He also lives in a warmer z6 than me.
