For those of you with greater knowledge than I possess, can you tell me what kind of tree this is?
I spotted it in Henryetta, in east central OK. Sorry I didn't get any close up shots. My kids were not in any mood to sit still in the car after playing hard all day, so I snapped and kept driving.
The only tree with leaves of a similar color that I ever see around here are Japanese Maples, but they are usually smaller and typically only able to grow in well shaded areas here due to the heat.
I appreciate your help.
