I am asking this because my landlord has a landscaper yanking all the trees at my office and all the shrubs. They are going to plant red knockout roses (a personal favorite of mine although the aroma is disappointing) and some laurel. When I mentioned how some sabal minor palms would look really nice and would be completely winter hardy, I may as well have been speaking Russian to her. It would be if there was a website where I could print her a copy of the info and show it is a native and would do great in our winters!!!
She did like my 2 butia's I have in pots in front of my office, so maybe there is hope!!!
