Thanks, Andres! Yes, while Atlanta seems to have TONS of trachies, they also have some nice sabals, butias, needles, chamaerops, washies, etc.
When I see a palm here, it seems like 70% of the time it is a windmill. Thats why I LOVE finding big old sabals, butias, etc.
I actually wish that Sabal minor and Needle palms were planted more often. But folks seem to go for the trunking palms. Phil
