Andres, If by Sp you mean Spanish Moss, then I think it is spreading, but I can't confirm that. Southern magnolias seem to be completely hardy, and I've seen large specimens in many gardens in the region. Apparently Mike who posts here has the oldest and largest S. mag's in eastern Canada.
Apparently the C. imbricata is actually a C. x viridiflora. It's MUCh more robust then any cactus I'm currently growing as C. x viridiflora!
