Hey Gary,
Have you ever heard of Synsepalum dulcificum "miricle fruit"? It has the ability to make sour fruit taste very sweet after you eat one. Not sure what your citrus tastes like but this might help. A place by me sells small ones for 30 bucks or so, it's rated a zone 10 so it would need to be kept in a green house. Nice picture too!
