Couple pics at lunch today

Unlike the first 8 days of November, today was cloudy thanks to Ida's spinning ways. But I had to run down to the morningside area and took a few side-streets for some autumn pics. Its been a GREAT fall for Camellia sasquana's!!! The extra rain or something must have really kicked their bloom season into high gear.
A slightly different view of the same camellia, with some gnarly red crepe myrtle - check out the kinda wild looking trunks and branches:
I liked the shape of this holly:
Of course I had to drive by these amazing trachies and the beautiful fat butia:
Tried to get some autumn foliage in the same butia photo:
Lots of bananas:
I spotted a huge ginko tree in color. Unfortunately looks like it had to get wacked on one side for the phone lines. But it was huge! (sorry, the larger photo was taken through my windshield)
Here is another one, I think. Notice the oak behind it is still summer green.
Again, this has been the most amazing season for Brugs around here. There are huge ones still blooming all over the place.
Encore azaleas still a'bloomin':
I tried to name the plants in this front yard. Blooming iris, agave, holly, some big feathery plant, pomogranite, cannas. How did I do?
Another big C. sasanqua with some autumn color around:
I could not tell if this were a cordyline or yucca. But it was pretty tall:
Lots of trachies everywhere:
Not sure what this tree was:
Fall in Atlanta!
Thanks, Phil
