Went down to 38 last night in Center City. Coldest night of the fall so far. No frost damage here even on impatiens or bananas. However, evidently it went down to 32 degrees at the airport and there were scattered frosts.
According to this article below, frosts are generally getting later each year and even the airport hasn't had a frost before Halloween since 1992. That said, they note at the turn of the last century, the average frost date was Nov 17.
