Official low at DCA was 36 degrees at 7 am; low in my back yard was 34 degrees. Given the temperature when I went to bed I thought it was going to go much lower. So no hard freeze, although we did get frost and most of my tropicals are burned. My main concern was all my plants in containers, and I have a lot of them this year.
I expect the suburbs got hit hard.
