I am posting this email early, so I can get a fair amount of replies. I am always so bored over the winter, so in jan/feb I have to start growing things from seed. I usually get a ton of perennial seeds, but this year I think I will try more palm varieties. So I would like suggestions on what you would try. I am also posting eary in case there are some very hard to find seeds, that I can do research online to find them.
Since seed is relatively cheap, I don't mind trying multiple varieties. Keep in mind my zone is 7b, but I am more than willing to try something zone 8a hardy.
The only exclusion I have are plants that are difficult to germinate, I do not need that headache. But somethings I would consider would maybe palms from mountaneuous areas, or cold deserts like afghanistan/iran. Thanks for the advice!
