At first I thought it had to be one of those because this is in the icebox part of CT, but the leaves seem just too recurving to me (not saying it's necessarily Y. recurvifolia). That, plus the fact that there are two specimens in the colony that have a good 1+ foot of trunk makes me perhaps wonder if they are hybrids. The owner kindly let me take one out of the colony and I have growing in a sunny site just up the street, we shall see if it takes on a different habit in the sun! (If it lives, that is) Thank you for the input.
