Hayes, the only advice I can offer is that I left a one-gallon plant out last winter here in 24-25F and there was some minimal damage to the emerging leaf. Not much to go on, but corresponding Sabal palmetto at the same size were unfazed. It may (or may not) turn out to be slightly less hardy. Given its affinities with S. uresana, I would think pumos would be pretty cold-hardy. You will be on the cutting edge!
