Leave the shutters on. I read where we are supposed to have a very active season this year. I think Fay is lost and don't know where to go. We did have a lot of rain here today and it is great as we needed it. I will try to head this rain your way CJay.

: Thanks Doc and I hope you guys stay safe!
:
: I live around Lake Lanier! LOL! Wow! Our
: drought must be bad news for you to hear
: about Lanier all the way in Florida....or is
: it because we are having those water wars
: with you! LOL!
:
: I hope Fay comes our way too and I'll pray
: that she stays away from you and all you get
: is JUST rain.
: Good idea to keep those shutters on...the
: hurricane season isn't over yet!

: Fay is definitely bad news for Florida BUT
: the
: projected path of the tropical storm is GOOD
: news for us here in Georgia!
: We desperately need that rain as we have
: been in a serious drought for several years.
:
: thanks for your concern, Ernie! We are
: doing well, as we are in the extreme NW
: corner of FL but Fay is due to swing back
: thru here in a few days to bring us some
: rain. Sorry, Cjay, but it looks like she
: might be coming underneath you guys (or
: south is probably the better term). Lake
: Lanier just gets lower and lower and this
: storm would be a great opportunity to add a
: few inches.
:
: I'll keep my fingers crossed it comes up a
: bit more north than predicted so you can get
: some drought relief before Fay comes to rain
: on us in the panhandle!
:
: At least I don't have to put up the shutters
: on the 2nd floor of our house. When they
: were installed this spring, Flyboy was
: already deployed, so I told them to just
: leave them up, I'd take them down in the
: fall after the season is over. they are
: clear, so we still get plenty of light in
: the house.
:
: anyway, thanks for the thoughts and I'll be
: hoping Fay goes north to Cjay's house!
:
