Hi all.

Forgive the OT post, but Im trying to help out a friend of mine. My friend Gerry [Gerard Jones] has written a funny book about 1940s Hollywood screen writers that he is posting on the net and trying to drum up support for publication.

The first 2 chapters are up at www.edandjohnny.blogspot.com. Please give it a look if you have time, and post comments, if you like. Or you can post comments here and I will send on to him. And recommend to all your friends!

I've read them, of course, and I like the story, the characters, and of course, the "million dollar ideas" for films the writers have. I think you might recognize some, especially in chapter 2. Ed and Johnny are way ahead of their time.
