Well we had six chatters in this evening. We had Kajunite; Sheila; Lindy; Lorna; Bentebum; and Pepper. Bentebum does not say much but the rest of us do a lot of talking so we make up for it. I know what a bum is but I don't know what a Bente is though. I must ask Pepper this; she knows most about things like this.
We had a lively discussion about St. Paddy's day all over the world. Lorna (being our resident leprechaun) said she has mostly Welch in her genes, so she did not know a lot. Her sister and her partner (a police inspector) are in NYC at this time and he is going to march in the St. Patrick's day parade. This is a big and famous parade each year. Someone said he is going to flash his 'warrant card' at the parade. Okay. What is a warrant card? Is that like his badge? I know all about flashing. You learn that in New Orleans Mardi Gras 101. I may have to watch the parade on TV to see what the police will be flashing.
St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland and St. George killed the dragon and became England's patron saint. I am a candidate for patron saint of Dry Creek. Do I have to slay a dragon or flash my warrant card to get elected? It is not easy being a saint, you know.
And they brought up the Paradise Lost again! There is no justice in this world, you hear me! And what's more, they got out the fan again, too! I am just throwed. Someone pointed out the difference between grass skirts and sarongs. I turn red (not green!) on St. Packy's day. It ain't easy being a saint!
The total number of vids from Sheila are now standing at 20 with over 2100 views. A lot of comments on some of them too. Sheila is trying to figure out how to do subtitles. For a long time, I misunderstood what she meant by subtitles. It is like you see with hearing impaired shows and tells what the character is saying. Got me by the bum, girl, I have no clue on how to do them. But knowing our Sheila as I do, I know she will figure out how to show what frick says to frack. This is the kind of thing she does well, our Sheila. And she will know how to do it with an accent too, I'll wager!
Oh by the way, we still have not gotten our video of Horn eating. What seems to be the delay on that, I wonder. A lot of fans are waiting on this treat.
