Yes we all had a fun time in the chatroom this week.
We rocked da Treehouse, LOL.
And surprise surprise, it didnt fall down.
ALthough had Sheila got that wind machine going, we might've had to say some quick prayers.
We decided we should all learn to speak a little Danish this week. Seeing as how Bente has to learn English in order to chat with us.
I mean its only fair right?
The trouble was, the only Danish that Ernie Liz and I knew was of the fruit kind
(apple danish, prune danish LOL) So we were next to useless. We're all gonna need to take a danish dictionary with us to the next chat
Lorna and Sheila were a bit cleverer as they already knew a little about Danes.
Did y'all know Hamlet was danish?
Man? Ya learn something new every day being around this group.
Sheila typed a phrase for Bente in Danish to make her feel more at home.
And that just super impressed the pants off of all of us.
But then Sheila once had a danish boyfriend. So she had a bit of a heads up LOL.
We learned that Godt is good.
And that we are good too. Actually I think what Bente was trying to say was that we all rock
WHich is so true. We do rock LOL.
and hey, you rock too Bente!
It was super great that Ernie was able to stay and chat this week. He didnt lose connection once. Not ONCE! and Hallelujah Brother!
He finally got mad and gave his old computer the boot. Kicked it out the door for failing to serve LOL and now has a new and better computer with Hotmail instead of Peoplepc and we're so glad because the chats just arent the same without you Ernie.
Sheila was super excited today, despite having a heavy cold. She's just learned to make her own TOD vids and they're proving very popular over on You Tube. She's done excerpts from various episodes. And she's included my all time favourite scene which is Sarge singing baby love to Judd on Brothers, fathers, sons. So go check em out y'all. And if you can, leave her some feedback.
Lucky Liz is going to Chile in April to catch up with family.
Matt has asked to go with her LOL
Liz's brother won some money on a scratchie ticket
and kindly shouted them all a holiday
What a wonderful thing to do?
I hope good karma comes his way for being so sweet and thoughtful.
Matts got a new puppy.
Its a stray that he took in and is looking after.
Naturally we asked if he gave the doggie a name.
And heavens to Betsy he called it Goober.
He has his reasons LOL.
He couldnt call it sarge, cause he already had a dog once named Sarge
and if it was a German Shepherd he'd have named it adelweisse LOL
But he aint a German Shepherd LOL
Then he was gonna call him "damnit"
So he could say fetch the ball damnit, or get in the truck damnit LOL
But Matts got a young niece and cousins and such and being the caring and thoughtful young man he is, he decided against damnit.
So its Goober.
oh well..its not the name that matters is it?
Its how you treat the animal that counts.
And Matt is an animal lover.
He's got two farms.
With chickens and goats and pet racoons
So the dogs gonna have lots of friends to play with LOL.
Little Goober couldnt be in better hands
I can hardly wait for next weeks chat.
Im dying to find out how Lornas hair turned out.
Claudia showed me what happened the last time she tried to get her hair straightened LOL.
I think a picture on myspace is warranted?
And what did Nat think of the various conversations we had?
Pepper had some info on Dj Perrys latest movie
He's just returned from India.
But I'll let her tell you all about that.
As she runs his website.
I cant remember what else we talked about.
The conversation went off in so many directions LOL
But Im sure Lorna, Sheila, Matt, Liz or Bente can fill you all in on whatever Ive missed
