One sun. afternoon tim mc carthy's charlie of st. loui. defeated john o'boyles bute,also of st. loui.for a purse of $100 per side,in 35 min. Weight 38.Mr. mc carthy conditioned and handeled his dog.Bute was conditioned and handeled by charles reynolds.Emmet murphy refed it.The fight was witnessed bye more than 100 fanciers from st. loui,A more orderly bunch of fellows could not be found anywhere!1909
