Beginning of 90is Sport lived true explozion, become full popular and big. Most active and proffesional countries here are Serbia, MonteNegro, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Makedonija and Slovenija. In last decade from those countries come cca 250 Champions and most of them are proven in fast lane against stiff competition. We all are small countries , but thats a beauty...we all know each other, it is no problem to contract a dog. So allmost all weekends we have Shows. First two champions in Yu were Auclair's Tom and Krkeljic's Tom they were matched into each other and Auclair's Tom wins in 1:53. The first dead game dog in Yu was Radonjic's Gypsy W2.He only was bred 4 times and he sired some of the best dogs in the country.Bred to Jojo he produced CH Giroux W4, L1 (game),Shila R.O.M, Najt W2, Toro i Cora (Miss Gypsy).Although Toro was bred to only 5 females he produced outstanding dogs like Balkan Boys' CH Black Buck, Gaca's CH Bony 4xW, 1xL(game), Ristic's Oggy, Elita Macve's Crni Fantom and some exceptionally game dogs I wont mention.
Some info about first imported bulldogs to Yugoslavia!
Among the first bulldogs imported to Yu that left their footprint in the sport are Radonjic's Gypsy,Jumbo & Rambo.They were littermates and were imported in 1988 from USA.
In the same time Ljubomir's Thor and Spanky (Ciko i Lili) were imported from Holland. They were half bro and sis through supergame Country Boy's Ventje and they were brought to Belgrade.
Late Sine Leskovar imports black pup called Mad Max. Ciko x Lili were bred together three times and produced CH Yankee R.O.M, Cia R.O.M, Spike, Bagzy and so on.
Peter's Agatha i Bosse's Jojo W2 were imported little later.
Krkeljic imports Andy Bad Company's Tom W2 L1 to Captain America's CH Gunner in 1:15. Tom later on beats Ljubomir's Thor (Ciko) in the first bulldog match in the country in 0:33 and becoms a champion.
After this Auclair's CH Tom was imported from Canada where he had one game loss from his sire when he was 16 months old. After that he won 3 and then sold to Yu, and won 2 from YU!
Gypsy and Jumbo were both bred to Bijeljina Boys' Lola R.O.M. and that produced CH Beli, CH Bela,GR CH Crnooki, Sarenko W2,Sivi D1(2:45 deep games).This was one of the best breedings made in our country.Nobody can tell for sure who was the sire of these dogs but it doesn't really matter since Gypsy and Jumbo were littermates with simmilar breeding potentials.Gypsy died after the match and the dogs were registered as sired by Jumbo 'cause he was still alive.
I cant exactly tell when Cune's Iron Kid (Garlaunis' Rambo) was imported.He beat Radonjic's Jumbo in a match.Jumbo cortesied on the end.
Jumbo, Iron Kid and Yankee were bred most times and hardly any dog will beat them.
A lot of dogs were imported later on but they weren't close to what was expected from them.Hardly any were matched and most of them quit like Rebel's Muggs(quit),Radonjic's(Hard Core's)Simon(quit),Sedlar's Zuga (quit) and others. In Yu there are some imported dogs with fantastic pedigrees and they are all at stud but none are open to match although they are healthy very well kept but mostly not even game tested.
One of the few that proved himself in the square too was Ferguson's C.J.W2 who was purchased like 1XW.He died shortly after his win and was bred to only one female. Also was imported CH Blinky who won his title in Holland.
