CH Turtle ROM was a big buckskin 4X winner at 54 lbs. with a black mask that was bred down south by D. Vaughn out of Dow's Blackie ( CH Otis ROM/ Dow's Red Jerry). He was the type that had to absorb plenty before finally coming to the top to win all 4 of his matches against strong competition, twice taking the gamest in show trophey. He won his Championship in 2:21. Turtle was one those which is one of those crazy game, yet could be people aggressive if not handled correctly, which is an unusual and undesireable trait for an American Bull Terrier. He went on to become ROM producer himself by siring CH turtle Jr., CH tommy, Grand ch Roscoe and Ch Butch.
