For me, the art could have used a bit more flair and the flashback sequence manga homage you described didn't do it for me. The abstract enemy that is the Civil War II Event is a well said appraisal. Unfortunately, 'the battleprep' seemed a lot of hopeless 'sitting around' - until Nagan showed up to offer a bit of a spark. Mostly agree with the characterization points you make about Luke and Danny. This tale's inclusion of the cornucopia of Handbook players was fun as was the patty-cakes seen that you mentioned. Liking Jessica Jones more in this book than earlier and LOVED Misty's guest cameo (and her bootylicious rendering).
The grabber symbolic cover spurred more curiousity than the cliffhangers. Could Iron Fist use his chi power to melt bars or would this be a unwanted random power up to nitpick?
