Captain Britain AND MI13 #9
Some player by player reactions...
Faiza- still hating her part of the team. Does nothing except semi-epathic moment with Excalibur.
Wisdom- rocked. True leadership/starring role. Judge, jury and executioner attitude. Handing the prisoner that gun was cold, reigning, and bad-ass development.
Black Knight- still not getting an iota of the attention he deserves. Had to have Pete get further on his mystery metalsword in his stead. Sheesh.
Captain Britain- Emotional exit thru the door. Great entrance thru the door. Powerful showing Plokta the door.
Blade- so much for his cool paper sword and for his cool anti-vamp obsession. Still a fan though.
Spitfire- this girl continues to freak me out with her (too slow/overdue) storyline advancement. How many people has she drained of blood is important for readers to judge her better. And now, she suddenly prefers to suck... face??!
Alistaire- can NOT wait for more on the dinner with Morgana. Maybe they can do a parody of that reality TV Blind Date show.
Captain Midlands- got the short end of the stick. Heroes have done worse acts only to be brushed off by their peers. Not that what he did wasnt BAD but it was sooo good/logical to NOT hear a gunshot.
Plokta- happy with his fate. Look forward to the next Dr Strange appearance that comments on his connection to the Mindless Ones. Wonder how a Duke of Hell will/does compare to an Arch-Lord of Ninth Circle like Belathauzer or the Anti-Christ Hellstrom.
Meggan- ... ... ...
And of course, the 'man' on the moon- Transylvanian Sword?! FORCES in London?! Doctor Doom?! A new neighbour for Uatu?! This has me hooked for next ish for sure!
Good value for your bu¢k! WHAT WERE YOUR REACTIONS TO THIS ISSUE?!
