: Another bad issue in a week of bad issues of
: Marvel and DC's.
: CAPTAIN BRITAIN AND MI: 13 #6
: Some panel by panel reactions...
: Brits: Good to see everyman reactions to the
This anglophile loved it!
: Wisdom: No mention of SI was disappointing.
: Does feel like he fits as teamplayer or top
: brass this issue.
Cornell's Wisdom is the best since Ellis, almost as if there's a continuity thread there.
: Avatars of Plokta: Generic.
As the team establishes itself, a generic foe sounds good. They're a credible threat without being a distraction from the getting to know them process.
: Faiza: Boooring. No interest in her. Does
: not suit the sword.
I like her and her excitement. She's an excellent POV character!
: Blade: Coolest character of the issue. Done
: spot on it seems.
Never seen Blade since that series that had the lesbian demon spawned daughter of a priest. Always liked him tho'...
: Spitfire: Really bothers me that Prev Page
: confirms her as Vampire-Turned-Heroine. Not
: the Spitfire that made me a fan
: characterwise either. Makes a good foil for
: Blade, here, though.
It made sense tho' and that's what we likes...
: Captain Midlands: Boooring. Dont know his
: story. Dont get his story. Dont want his
I believe he was in the nearly incomprehensible Wisdom mini by Cornell but don't let incomprehensible adjective stop you. It was the most fun I had without understanding what I was reading until the recent Hellcat mini took its place.
: Captain Britain: He's done okay here. Nice
: cliffhanger with him.
Poor Cap was never one to drive story, even in what little I've seen of his vastly overrated original series. You need a guy like him as a flavor in a team book.
: Plokta: Really?! PLOKTA?! THAT's the name of
: the first major villain? Depending on how
: who he is and what he does will dictate how
: lame this badguy is... but PLOKTA?! Keep
: reading it PLOTka for some odd reason. More
: curious about the word ( plokta ) itself
: than the villain ATM.
I just assumed it had to do with Ditko creating the Mindless Ones visually...
: Did YOU find it a bad or good issue?
Great issue! BTW, what does Emerick Man mean? I guess I could type Emerick into Dogpile but that would feel like cheating...
