I hope H4H stays around, but I must admit that I don't like the title as much as I did when Palmiotti and Gray were on. The first 8 issues were fabulous, filled with tons of old baddies and nice, genuinely funny parts mixed in with tons of action. I like what Zeb Wells is doing but....the book sort of lost its punch a bit. Maybe too much Humbug, too, although what's been going on with the guy has been intiguing. --Previous Message--
: Well, I hate to reply to my own post, but
: Newsarama has the solicits for December and
: once more, Heroes For Hire is not on the
: list. It looks like #15 may be the last
: issue of this series. To which I say: Son
: of a beach!
: Between the now-publically-admitted botched
: launch of New Invaders , the shortchanging
: given to Nightcrawler and the previous
: Iron Fist , and now this, I have not had a
: lot of luck at all with Marvel launching
: second-teir properties as of late.
: Hopefully Nova (which rocks) and Immortal
: Iron Fist (which is not my cup of tea) will
: last longer.

: I thought this as well when I saw the
: solicits. I am banking on it being a
: scheduling thing, as right now there are two
: issues solicited by Marvel as going on sale
: in the month of October (#14 on 10/10, and
: #15 on 10/31). So it's possible that #16
: will be solicited for December and come out
: on like 12/6, which would only be 5 weeks
: from 10/31.
: This may also have to do with the division
: of weeks for the fiscal months; on the
: fiscal calendar, 10/31 is in November, so
: perhaps that "counts" as a
: November issue for accounting/record-keeping
: Similarly, I was all a-panic at the lack of
: a solicit for New Excalibur , but I think
: the Excal/Exiles crossover By The Sword
: may be taking it's place for a bit.

: There is no H4H#16 solicited for November.
: this because the book is now running
: late....or is it because the book has been
: cancelled with #15? I haven't heard anything
: about the situation yet, so I guess we'll
