Daughters of the dragon fan movie?

I draw and write my own comics, And i sometimes take marvel characters and write my own stories and draw them also. Well it now seems i will step up. Let me explain, My good friend is a comic buff like myself. ( i got him into comics when we were younger ) Anyway, im sure eveyone saw the Sci-Fi movie man-thing, I know, I know, It sucked to some people. I still kind of liked it because man-thing is one of my favorite characters in the marvel horror genre. I am a big fan of the character. Well, my friend likes man-thing also but he hated the movie, so knowing that i write comics, He asked me if i would write him a small script of my own version of A Man-Thing movie. I did so and he loved it. What i am getting at is that he is going to college to become a movie director, And he had a idea of a small fan film he wants to make. I introduced him to the Daughters of the Dragon a few years back, with the old issues of powerman and iron fist, Then came the samurai bullets mini that gave me A comic geek-gasm! I read the series and loved it, and love that they are back in comics. I showed my friend the mini series with issue # 1 and 2, to which he replied, "I need to add this mini series to my list" Fastforward to now, And today i met with him at his house and he has informed me he wants to make fan film of daughters of the dragon, and wants me to write it.( I have never wrote a movie script befor, only a Man-Thing mini film script which was pretty easy) He is currently serching for a asian american and african american female actress (in acting school)for the roles of misty and colleen. The tone of the film will feel like samurai bullets, But the story will be original. We will be talking about the script tomorrow, And see what direction we want to take it in. He will film it in the city where we live, To give it the new york city vibe. ( I do not live in NY. I live in RI. ) Downtown Providence looks cluttered and grimy, ( it kind of looks like tim burtons Batman from 1989 ) Its always crowded etc. His father works for the mayor of providence so he souldnt have a problem filming on the streets. I will keep you all posted on the project as it comes along.
