I am researching a widow Elizabeth or Eliza Reddy, born in Nova Scotia abt 1840, died in New York. Her children were Mary and Henry, and one other who died young. It's possible (as the dates fit) that she was married to James Reddy of Guysborough, and their daughter Mary was born 4 JUL 1866 in Guysborough. Could this James Reddy be a son of Matthew and Hannah? Apparently he died before 1875 or before the family immigrated to NYC. Please contact me if you have any further info.
