Julie, As a Gloucester native and descendant of a Guysborough fisherman who came to Gloucester,let me tell you this. On our Fishermans memorial on Stacy Blvd. are the names of dozens of men lost at sea since the founding of this town and nearly 80% are from the Maritimes,nearly all from NS and PEI.
