Mike: Thank you so much for the info - I was very pleased and delighted to receive it. Will share w/our children & grandchildren. We certainly have a long history in NS. I believe another of my ancestors was Robert Carr (also a Loyalist and given a land grant). Mary J. Carr was my gggrandmother, married to William Grady. She died before 1864 - my search had not found her parents or burial site - will keep searching. Many thanks again
